Adventures!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KEIRSTEN!!

We had a Minnie Mouse party!
She had so much fun and we had a lot
of wonderful friends and family
join us to celebrate!

The cutest sugar cookies
that Grandma Wendy brought
for the party...they
were so yummy!

Happy Birthday to you,
happy birthday to you,
happy birthday sweet Keirsten,
happy birthday to you!

Opening presents!

I love this picture. This is sweet
little Ava. She was so excited
for Keirsten to open her gift! Afterward
they gave each other the biggest hug...
it was the cutest thing EVER!!

After she opened each present
she would throw the gift
behind her to Ryan
and want the next one...
she was so excited and
was having a BLAST opening
her gifts.

Thank you to everyone who
celebrated our little girl's 2nd birthday
with us!

Kayden has started baseball...
YES baseball NOT t-ball!!!

The weather has been warm and cold
and warm and cold, so we have
had to reschedule a few games and dress
really warm for others.

This is the first year where they actually
strike out...Kayden
doesn't like it so much, especially
when he is the one that is striking out
but its a great learning
experience for him.

So far this year he has had 3 GREAT
hits, 2 runs, and a
awesome catch to end the inning!

(He is number 11)

This Christmas we decided it
would be a good idea for the grandparents
to donate to buying the kids a swing-set this
spring. So here it is...

The kids love it and it
is such a great way for them to
burn some energy and play
outdoors....
Thanks to all the grandparents
and great-grandparents who all chipped in!

Keirsten thought it would be fun to
eat her popcorn in the
laundry basket...

Kayden attempting to put
the laundry basket over Ryan's head...
he wasn't successful; but it was
worth a try. :)

Keirsten had her 2 year
well check and she is right on
track. She also had her annual appointment
with the cardiologist (which I was
a wreck for) but we received great news!
Her EKG came back normal and
her stenosis has not progressed, which
is great, and if it continues to
sound the same, she continues to grow normally,
and she does not begin to show fatigue she
wont have to have another echo until she
is four!!

We sang songs as we waited for the Dr.
She was nervous and needed
to be reassured that
everything was OK a couple of times.

Happy Mothers Day...
aren't they so cute :)

It has been a busy year so far
and with Kayden getting ready to be
done with school for the summer, I am sure
it is going to get crazier!

We should have a lot more adventures to come!

Love,
The Downs
